The Carrie Underwood Concert

Carrie Underwood plays tomorrow December 7th in Rapid City at the Ice Arena. I have row 47 seats on the floor so they are really good seats. I'm pretty excited about it. I like most of her songs and it'll just be cool i think to be able to see someone so famous. My favorite Carrie Underwood song is Cowboy Casanova and the video is really good she looks really hot in it. So I'll blog again after the concert.

CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS

The country station CMT had a Christmas special on last weekend. There were lots of famous country people there like the band Rascall Flats, sugarland, George Straight, Jason Aldean, Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, and Reba Macantire. They sang lots of great country songs and raised money for toys for tots. At the end they all sang the song Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and brought the house down. It was a great program.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert has a new song out called Only Prettier. This is a decent song but i like the video much better. Miranda has blown up over the last five years and she sings about real life things her songs usually are kinda straight to the point. She has been threw alot in her life, she grew up in a half way house and saw alot of things there. Her music is good and she will continue to do well i think. I definitely recommends this song!

Taylor Swift again...

Taylor Swift has a new song out called Back to December of her new album Fearless. The song is supposedly about her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautiner who plays Jacob the werewolf in the Twilight series. The song is about how Taylor treated the relationship carelessly and the song is all the things she wanted to apologize about to him. This is a first for Taylor in which she is acutely apologizing in a song rather then singing about a breakup like in Should've Said No or Picture to Burn. I haven't heard this song yet but I'm sure it will blow up like all the rest of her songs do.

Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw has a new song called "Felt Good on My Lips" off his new album Nine Lives. I like this song, its a pretty upbeat song. The song is about a man who meets this girl in Mexico and when they kiss it feels good on his lips, and everything else that reminds him of her like the music or the breeze or the food all feels good on his lips. Tim has been around for a long time. He's gone threw a lot with his dad not wanting him and even though Tim has become extremely famous his father still doesn't want anything to do with him. He has had countless hits and number one albums and songs. He is married to the very fine Faith Hill who is also a huge country star. They've had hit songs together and will go down in country music history has the modern day Johny Cash and June Carter.

Jarrod Neiman

Jarrod Neimans new song "Lover, Lover" is a remake of a song from 1992 called "You Don't Treat Me No Good No More." I Love this song, its about a relationship between these two people and the woman leaves the man and he uses that sadness to right a song about there relationship. This song is the best song on country music right now i think, its my text message ring haha. Jarrod also is a song writer and his written songs for George Straight and Chris LeDuex. If he keeps it up he will be a forced to be reckoned with.

The Band Perry

The Band Perry is a new band to country music. There first hit song is called "If I Die Young" of there new album The Band Perry. The song is about a girl who is talking about if she were to die young what to do and why life would be different without her. I really don't know much about the song I've only heard it a couple times but the times i did i liked it. The Band Perry i think will do good if they keep releasing songs like this one heck maybe they could be the next Lady Antebellum? Who knows!

Billy Currington

Billy Currington has a new song out call "Pretty Good at Drinkin Beer" of his new album Enjoy Yourself. The song is about this guy who isn't really good at anything else but he's good at drinking beer. In the video this guy wants to date this girl but she has a boyfriends who pushes the main character around a lot. They both end up at the same pool party and the guys wants to battle the other guy for the hot girl, so they decide to play a game of beer pong and the main character wins and ends up getting the girl! The video is pretty comical and the song is worth listening to. Billy is new to the country music scene he first debuted in 2003 with his song "I Got a Feelin" of his album Billy Currington. He's had a few number one's since he first debuted, personally i think he will be forgotten in about 30 years but thats just my opinion.

Toby Keith

Toby Keith has been around country music since the early 1990's. He as had numerous amounts of #1 hits such as, "Shoulda been a cowboy", " How do you like me now", "Talk about me", and "Beer for my Horses" are just a few of the singers number ones. Toby has a new song out call " Trailer Hood off his new album Bullets in The Gun is about life in a southern trailer park. The video is very comical there is a fat man in a little swimming pool that gets blown over from a tornado, there are some little kids spying on a hot girl washing her car and her cloths get blown off in the tornado and there are some guys drinking and they end up watching themselves on the news watching them selves, its a pretty funny video. Toby Keith has been around our area quite a bit, he has preformed at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally numerous times, i have seen him in concert and its a fun show. Toby will go down in the country music books as one great singer!!

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Undewood is probable one of the hottest women in the world right now. She is also one of the hottest singers on the charts as well. Carrie Underwood won the hit tv show American Idol in 2005 and from then on her carrer has been on FIRE! Her first single "Jesus Take the Wheel" of her album Carnival Ride shot to the top of the charts and from then on everyone of her songs has hit number one on either the country and or pop charts. She is currently on her Play On Tour and will be in Rapid City on December 27th, the concert has been sold out for some time now but i got tickets (row 27 on the floor) and am going to the concert. Carrie Underwood will go down in country music history as the greats before her like Patsy Clien, Lorreta Lynn, and June Carter.

Rascall Flats

Rascall Flats is one of my favorite bands. Their new song called "Why Wait" of there new album Unstoppable is at the number 10 spot on the Billboard Top 40 in country music. The song is about a couple who wants to go elope and the song is about the positive things about eloping and why wait for it when they can just do it now, they love each other so why not. Rascall Flats has had a very positive carrer in the last ten years. All five of there albums has had at least one number one song song and they have been the only country group to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City. Rascall Flats will probable have a very promising future in store.

Taylor Swifts VMA Preformance

Taylor Swift preformed a new song this weekend on the Video Music Awards. The song was called "Innocent" of her new album Speak Now, Taylor had never preformed the song live to anyone before. The song was kind of a dark song and the performance was kind of dark also, definitely a side of Taylor that we've never seen before. I don't really know how this song will do on the country scene if it is released as her new track but i'm sure as with all Taylor Swift songs it will blow up just like the rest of her songs and all the little girls and boys of the world will just be like OMG i love Taylor Swift i have swift fever OMG OMG OMG her song connect with me on such a personal level its amazing how she does that!!

Follow up from yesterday

Sugar Land has a new song out called "Stuck on You" the song is about a girl who is singing about a relationship and how they really love eachother. The video is pretty funny the main character is a crazy lady and her friend who helps her catch a guy she stocks. She fist gets arrested then gets out and finally captures him and takes him to a warehouse were she has it set up like a house. She then ties him to a chair and feeds him this love juice, then the lady and her friends start dancing in yoga suits and at the end some lady calls the guys phone and her picture pops up and she's really HOT then the weird lady punches the guy in the face and its over. Its a pretty catchy song and i recomend listening to it.

Darrius Rucker has a new song called "Come Back Song" the song is about him singing to this girl about how he screwed up and wants her back so he wrote this song and is singing it and called it his come back song. Its an ok song.

Carrie Underwood has this new song called "Undo It" its a really catchy song she's singing about how a guy screwed her over and now wants her back but she won't take it back because he cant undo what he did to her. The video is really good she is singing to a live audiance in half it and a white room the other half of the video She looks very hot in the video and i definetly recomend watching it.

Kenny Chesney has a new song its called " Boys of The Fall" the song is all about high school football and the lessons it teaches you, the video is clips from high school football games and influencal coaches talking to there teams before the big games. The song is very good and i recomend listening to it especially if u are in high school football.

New Music in country

Some new music in country recently has been from artist's such as Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church.

Taylor Swifts new song "Mine" has allready shot to the top of the country charts and the pop cross over charts. The song is about a couple who goes threw some rough times but always remembers how they first meet and why they love eachother.

Reba McEntires new song Turn on the Radio is about a girls who's man cheats on her and now she's famous and is singing about there breakup on the radio and is trying to show the guy how better off she is without him.
