The Carrie Underwood Concert

Carrie Underwood plays tomorrow December 7th in Rapid City at the Ice Arena. I have row 47 seats on the floor so they are really good seats. I'm pretty excited about it. I like most of her songs and it'll just be cool i think to be able to see someone so famous. My favorite Carrie Underwood song is Cowboy Casanova and the video is really good she looks really hot in it. So I'll blog again after the concert.

CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS

The country station CMT had a Christmas special on last weekend. There were lots of famous country people there like the band Rascall Flats, sugarland, George Straight, Jason Aldean, Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, and Reba Macantire. They sang lots of great country songs and raised money for toys for tots. At the end they all sang the song Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and brought the house down. It was a great program.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert has a new song out called Only Prettier. This is a decent song but i like the video much better. Miranda has blown up over the last five years and she sings about real life things her songs usually are kinda straight to the point. She has been threw alot in her life, she grew up in a half way house and saw alot of things there. Her music is good and she will continue to do well i think. I definitely recommends this song!

Taylor Swift again...

Taylor Swift has a new song out called Back to December of her new album Fearless. The song is supposedly about her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautiner who plays Jacob the werewolf in the Twilight series. The song is about how Taylor treated the relationship carelessly and the song is all the things she wanted to apologize about to him. This is a first for Taylor in which she is acutely apologizing in a song rather then singing about a breakup like in Should've Said No or Picture to Burn. I haven't heard this song yet but I'm sure it will blow up like all the rest of her songs do.

Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw has a new song called "Felt Good on My Lips" off his new album Nine Lives. I like this song, its a pretty upbeat song. The song is about a man who meets this girl in Mexico and when they kiss it feels good on his lips, and everything else that reminds him of her like the music or the breeze or the food all feels good on his lips. Tim has been around for a long time. He's gone threw a lot with his dad not wanting him and even though Tim has become extremely famous his father still doesn't want anything to do with him. He has had countless hits and number one albums and songs. He is married to the very fine Faith Hill who is also a huge country star. They've had hit songs together and will go down in country music history has the modern day Johny Cash and June Carter.

Jarrod Neiman

Jarrod Neimans new song "Lover, Lover" is a remake of a song from 1992 called "You Don't Treat Me No Good No More." I Love this song, its about a relationship between these two people and the woman leaves the man and he uses that sadness to right a song about there relationship. This song is the best song on country music right now i think, its my text message ring haha. Jarrod also is a song writer and his written songs for George Straight and Chris LeDuex. If he keeps it up he will be a forced to be reckoned with.

The Band Perry

The Band Perry is a new band to country music. There first hit song is called "If I Die Young" of there new album The Band Perry. The song is about a girl who is talking about if she were to die young what to do and why life would be different without her. I really don't know much about the song I've only heard it a couple times but the times i did i liked it. The Band Perry i think will do good if they keep releasing songs like this one heck maybe they could be the next Lady Antebellum? Who knows!
